**** TWO ****

And so it begins...  The journey into the WONDERFUL two's...  I think I have dreamed about this day since the Dr. handed him to me 2 years ago..  The day he would turn the BIG TWO!!  There is something sooo Wonderful about a 2 year old, the couriosity, the imagination, the wonderment and the most very important of all.... the LOVE...  I mean he can walk to me now and just give me lots of kisses and hugs, take me by the hand and show me things...  I mean this is about to get FUN and ohhhhh how I am ready..
We decided on having a Thomas the Train party for him with a few of our closest friends and family and he had a BLAST...

With Solomyn being number four I suppose he gets the raw end of the deal..  I mean I have thrown the biggest birthdays for Logan, Madi and Karson and I have learned my lesson..  First and Foremost babies DO NOT REMEMBER there parties, the presents or anything else so we have learned to just go with it and make it a stress free day..

As I normally do I tell EVERYONE to not bring any presents, And as usual this is what happends..  :)

Can you tell he got something re: Baseball  :)

And then it was time for some CAKE..  this year we did a Cupcake cake and it was the easiest thing ever.. what a great idea..  :)

And then we got a little cake for Solomyn Jax to DESTROY...  LOL

Solomyn with Mommy and Daddy

All four of the kids in the SAME picture.. lol

Solomyn with some of his sweet friends

Solomyn with Grandma Susan and feeding Mr.Garth some cake

And last but not least Great Grandma....

And there cannot be a great party without a food fight and Kris was a trooper..

The Party lasted all of one hour... PERFECT...  and then we were off to have lunch over at the mall and he had his very first Chick-Fil-A kids meal..

And since he flirted with the girl behind the counter and she fell completly in love with him he ended up with this..

THE BIGGEST SUNDAE EVER... :)

Now before I get to the rest of this post let me just say this..  Solomyn has been talking about this all day..  everytime he would pass by us he would give out a CHOOO CHOOO...  and as we got in line for the train he could hardly contain himself..  We were thinking this is going to be the best 3 dollars we have ever spent...

So when this happend as the train was pulling out.....

We were shocked..  I guess this was one of those things that seemed like fun but, well, WASN'T....  LOL..

Kris did find his Binky and Blanket and he did end up enjoying it and having a great time..

What a great day we all had together... It could not of gone any better and I am excited about the year ahead..  Let the FUN begin...

Sooo I REALLY did it.. :)

I am sure...  that I am not the only one who has something in there head,  that they think one day they would love to do ... But, always find a reason not to and then wish they had...

I have had something I have wanted to do for the past three years.. Maybe not a big deal to some but to me it was huge...  It was to commemorate the fact that I am done having children and that I have lost all the baby weight and kept it off for one year...  Well, today was the day it happened.. I dragged one of my closest friends with me to hold my hand and just went for it...

I know I look happy.. But really I am scared to death...  I am sooo not one for pain and think what the heck am I thinking...
And as she begins to mark my belly I think there is no turning back and so it begins...

And YES.. I am squeezing poor Stephs hand like no tomorrow but it was well worth it...

                                                I LOVE IT...
and I know it might not be big to some, But for me it was the sign of a great accomplishment...  and the sign of Solomyn being the finale...  And of me hitting my goal weight and keeping it...  It has been a pretty great year..  :)

Soaking it in...

Because it is in them,  And although 10 months out of the year we  hold it deep inside... When we are here there is no holding it back...
It is true that we now live in NC    BUT... Florida is were are heart's live on... And where I get to watch them be who they really are....

My wonderful beach bums...  :)

It is fun to just sit back and watch them go for it... My shy, sweet loving daughter who has such a hard time with sooo much gives 150% no matter what it is and by the end of the night as the sun is starting to set I get to capture a few of here MAKING HER MARK..  :)

And getting to watch my maybe not so sweet, sometimes a little moody But the kid I am madly in LOVE with go for it was just as much fun...

And sometime you have to remember to get the shots and the pictures you hope to never forget, the moments that one day down the road you will be so ever glad you did and I was sooo happy to catch these...

These just make me SMILE..  I would like to think it was grandma taking Solomyn Jax for a run but I think it was the other way around..  :)
Although the sun was hiding behind the clouds tonight and the big show we were hoping for was not there.. It was great to be amongst family and friends and just sitting out on the beach soaking it all in ...

and I did manage to capture this...

Delta... Delta...

Because,  I am nooo dummy...  I decided to do what any Great Mother would do to get there toddler to sit down for an hour in a busy Charlotte airport.....

Starbucks.. Venti... Strawberries and Cream...  Knowing he would not share this drink I knew we would be golden until the plane was ready for take off..   I have been scared for a week about taking the 3 amigos on this flight to Sarasota, the not knowing how little peanut would do was a little to much for me... But, let me tell you from Charlotte to Atlanta these kids rocked it....

And once in Atlanta the kids without complaining helped carry all the luggage and carry ons over to the next flight ( and can I just say I LOVE MY ERGO CARRIER for Sol) it was a huge blessing to have while in the airports and walking around..and once there it was auntie annes cinnamon pretzels for everyone..

And let me tell you about flying with a baby...  It is sooooo great when they call for all the parents flying with lap riders to board first and you get to get on without anyone bumping into you or looking at you while you struggle to put 3 kids belongings into the luggage racks..  :)  We then we are off to our final destination Sarasota Florida..

I think back to the day we made the purchase for 3 apple I pod touches for the kids on the expense of it all thinking we will never get the money out of those things and today I am thinking I am so glad we did it and it was money well spent

We are finally home..  :)  and as we begin to get ready for the July 4th fireworks I feel blessed to be here..  We live off of Siesta drive while we are home and get to walk over to the bridge to watch the fireworks with the kids and this will be Solomyn's very first fireworks down at the bridge...  And soo it is like every year before we moved we begin the walk....

The sun is setting in the background and Grandma Susan and Mr. Garth are heading up the walk... the kids are excited and there are enough hands for each of the kids to hold in case they get a little scared..  :)
And the fireworks begin Sol in his stroller and the kids near the sea wall, Mr. Garth has his arm around Grandma Susan and we all stand there and wait for the show...

The Sun finishes it fall into the ocean and the fireworks soon begin...  Were the kids watched the fireworks as I always did as a child ...over the water with family around and lots of clapping for the biggest and the best... It was a Fabulous night..
