The Smile

This morning when I woke up, the long emotional week had finally caught up with me .. The exhaustion was so intense that I curled up on the couch with my warm coffee and just sipped it slowly hoping the wonderful smell and high octane caffeine would get me somehow through the day..  That I could just be a semi good, not going out for the mom of the year award today kinda mom..  My eyes are half shut and I hear my sweet little Sol running around dancing to the Amazing Yo Gabba Gabba's and then it becomes quiet !! and we all know when a toddler stops moving you better start looking soo with a deep breath I pry my eyes open and get to see this.. :)

                                                          THE SMILE

His sweet little blue eyes are peering deep into mine as if to say come on mom we have things to do..  Like maybe playing with toys, throwing the ole baseball around, a little bicycle ride or maybe just some BREAKFAST..  lol...   breakfast it is... and there is just something fun about watching him try to eat breakfast while running around the house trying his best to avoid Mrs. Sofia...



Sofia is quick and he knows if he lays it down the food now becomes fair game so he holds on tight to his little granola bar and just runs circles around the coffee table.. Till sofia gives up and he can sit down and enjoy his little breakfast...

Solomyn has now mastered the fine art of climbing and I LOVE it... He can now get up and down from the couch all by himself without screaming MOM MOM MOM... and banging on to the couch as if asking me in the most politest way to get him up there so he can read a book for 5 sec.. and then again to get him down to get another one and .. well... you get the idea  ..and  this picture just makes me Smile from ear to ear.. :)

My soo exhausted, cannot move, emotionally drained, I need a break kinda morning has turned out  to be one of my most favorite mornings with my little sweet Sol..   And it all started with a little smile.. :)
