The Journey: **** 13 ****

I can not believe Miss. Madi is now 13.. I mean where did the time go and how on earth did I get this lucky to have her... I remember being around 16 and knowing deep down that I would have 4 children and when I would have little talks with God it would be all about the 4 little boys I would one day have... Sooo when I was about 3 months along and I was told I was having a GIRL I was sure there was some sort of mistake, I mean I had talked this out with God myself and was sure we had a pact about this... Then shortly after finding out I was put on complete bed rest till I had our 8lb 2oz baby girl one month early... I thought O.K. she is here and we are going to give this baby girl thing a go.. And before I knew it she started to cry and cry and cry and in between the crying we had projectile vomiting.. I thought ARE YOU KIDDING ME.. I remember walking into Dr. Eric Patrusky's office handing them my 6 week old baby girl and saying fix her and walked out into the hall and just started to cry.. When all was said and done Madi ended up having a large hematoma on her head, sever reflux disease and a horrible bout of Colic.. After taking her to the all children's hospital, they "fixed" her.. by changing her formula, a large amount of medications, weekly visits back at the hospital and me learning how to walk with a baby sling and sleeping with her in a recliner.. All of these things seemed to help although it did last the first year of her life and then after that year something just changed.. And God slowly showed me why he had brought her into my life.. Because I NEEDED HER as much as SHE NEEDED ME. !!

So on the Morning of July 27 My sweet Madi woke up in Sarasota Florida to this Wonderful site....

And as with our family tradition we give them 100.00 dollars to go blow for the day.. No questions asked... Normally they just hold on to it, But, we have been known to get 50.00 worth of candy.. LOL

After opening a few of her presents we went to her most favorite spot for breakfast..

Afterwards, we came home and Madi opened her presents from Karson Noah, We then had wonderful lemon pie and red velvet cake which were her choice and then the older boys.. Jeremy and Logan took her out to Lunch and spoiled her at the mall..
